Bessie

Bessie and her son Archie were rescued from a life of neglect and abuse, but this amazing duo hasn't let it damage their spirit! They are crate-trained, leash-trained, and get along with kids, dogs, cats, small children, and anyone else they meet. They are so thankful for their second chance, and it shows every day. Bessie and Archie can be adopted separately, but we promise endless entertainment to anyone willing to adopt them together.

Ideal Home

Bessie loves to run and play with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Bessie clearly had a hip injury that wasn't treated. She has a slight deformity in the joint and some arthritis, but she doesn't let that stop her.

Bessie and Archie are crate-trained and leash-trained.

• All interested adopters must have/understand ALL of the following before being considered as a potential adopter:
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Be over the age of 23
  • Renters must show proof or provide information to verify that the pet is allowed at the residence
  • Be willing to have an in-person interview to go over expectations for both you and the animal
  • Be willing to have a Love And Rescue volunteer do a home visit
• Dog Adoption Fee: $150
• Out of town adoptions for Dogs: $300
