Duke is a sweet 11-year-old Maltese who loves exploring, following his people, cuddling, and relaxing on laps. He enjoys short walks with plenty of sniffing, rides well in the car, knows “sit,” and is working on crate training and additional commands. He is seeking a relaxed adult home committed to positive reinforcement, enrichment, and lots of cuddles.

Ongoing Health

His $400 adoption fee includes DAPP, rabies if age-appropriate, a heartworm test and preventative if age-appropriate, flea and tick treatment, and spaying or neutering if he is medically sound for surgery.

Training & Support

Positive reinforcement training with Green Dogs Unleashed is required for all adoptions. Preference is given to adopters who complete the six-week Canine 101 class in person at the Troy, VA headquarters. Limited consideration may be given to out-of-area adopters who complete one private lesson with Green Dogs Unleashed and attend a pre-approved positive reinforcement class locally.

Transportation
