Duke

Duke is a sweet 11-year-old Maltese who loves exploring almost as much as he loves following you around. He's an absolute cuddle bug and loves nothing more than to spend his days on your lap. Duke knows "sit" and is working on crate training and other commands. He enjoys short walks filled with interesting scents and does well on car rides.

• Completing our six-week Canine 101 training class in person at our headquarters in Troy, VA, is preferred.
• Out-of-area adopters who complete one private lesson with us (in person or virtually) and attend a pre-approved positive reinforcement training class in their area will be considered.
• A minimum adoption fee of $400.00 applies, which includes vaccinations, rabies, heartworm testing and preventative, flea and tick treatment, and spay/neuter if medically appropriate.
• Adopters will be responsible for future annual vaccines, testing, and monthly heartworm preventative.

Transportation

Duke is located in Troy, VA. Out-of-state applicants are considered, but you must be willing to travel to Troy, VA, for a meet and greet.
