Keri

Keri is a sweet, well-mannered girl who originally came to us from Kuwait in 2019. She had a tough start in life but was rescued and eventually made her way to us. Though she found a wonderful home in 2020, she's now back with us through no fault of her own, ready for her forever family. Keri is a remarkably lazy lady who needs a nudge towards a slightly more active lifestyle. She's carrying a few extra pounds, partly due to her thyroid condition and partly due to being overfed and under-exercised. At her ideal weight, she's in the mid-40s, but she's currently about 25% over that.

Ideal Home

Keri would thrive with a moderately lazy owner who can ensure she gets a walk or two a day and is mindful of her diet. She's looking for a loyal companion, someone who is content with quiet evenings and enjoys a dog who will be devoted to them. Keri is best suited for a home that is looking for a one-person dog; she can be indifferent to other dogs as long as they don't bother her, and she is not a cat-friendly dog.

Ongoing Health

Keri has a thyroid condition that is being managed. She is overweight, and while her thyroid contributes, it's also a result of her diet and exercise habits.

Training & Support

Keri is exceedingly well-mannered and knows many commands. She simply needs a consistent owner who will help her maintain a healthy weight through proper feeding and regular walks.
