Jeffery

Jeffery is a handsome 2-3 year old, 90-95 lb. Staffordshire Terrier mix with a heart of gold! He's a gentle giant who absolutely adores people. Jeffery found himself at the Dallas shelter after being dumped, but he's ready to leave his past behind and find a loving forever home. He's already neutered, up-to-date on his shots, and heartworm negative.

Ideal Home

Jeffery would do best in a home with a single person, a couple, or a family with older children (12+). He needs to be the only pet in the household, as he does not do well with other male dogs and is questionable with female dogs. He's not a fan of dog parks, but he'd much rather cuddle on the couch and enjoy leisurely walks with you. He is not suited for running or hiking. A home with no tie-outs or electric fences is a must.

Ongoing Health

Jeffery is heartworm negative and up-to-date on all his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Jeffery is a smart boy who knows his commands! He's also crate trained and potty trained. If you raise your voice while walking him, he'll instinctively back up and sit by your side, showing his sensitive nature. He would thrive with continued positive reinforcement and understanding.
