Pippi Longstocking Pocket Sparkle is a delightful 2-year-old, 37 lb bundle of joy, with a personality that shines as brightly as her name suggests. She's a medium-sized girl with energy to spare and a heart full of love, ready to greet each day with enthusiasm. Pippi moves with a happy hop and wiggles with pure delight when she receives affection. Her energy is infectious, making her a truly fun-loving companion.
Ideal Home
Pippi would thrive with an active family who enjoys movement and play. She's looking for a home that can provide clear boundaries and structure. While Pippi is friendly and confident with other dogs, she doesn't need to be best friends with every dog she meets. She does best with confident female dogs and males overall. She is not the best fit for a dog that is easily pushed around or lacks the confidence to set boundaries. Her response to cats was mixed, so a home with a feline friend would be a great opportunity to understand her interactions.
Ongoing Health
Pippi is a healthy girl. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her vetting, including DAPP and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella, and broad-spectrum deworming. She also receives 12 months of heartworm preventative.
Training & Support
Pippi walks into her crate without fuss, which is a big win! She responds well to correction on leash and has a happy, medium pace. Her exuberance is pure joy, but she benefits from clear boundaries to help channel her enthusiastic energy.

Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT.
