Peta

Peta is a sweet two-and-a-half-year-old girl who has overcome a difficult past and is now searching for her forever family. She spent most of her life without love or comfort, surviving outdoors on a chain and enduring repeated litters of puppies. After a scary experience in a shelter, she was rescued but has been waiting for over a year to find her human companions. Peta’s favorite things are snuggling, giving kisses, and especially belly rubs, which always make her wiggle with joy. She’s a little goofy and loves to make people smile.

Ideal Home

Peta would thrive in a home with older children who can appreciate her playful spirit. She’d do best as the only dog in the household, as she has plenty of love and loyalty to share all on her own.
