Dozer

Dozer was surrendered to rescue after his previous owner lost him through the courts in a cruelty case. This poor guy has been through so much, yet he still retains the devotion and desire to please that his breed is known for. He is so enthusiastic about finally having humans who are kind and loving towards him, and a chance for a great doggie life. This handsome guy is happy and outgoing, walks well on a leash, and loves going for a ride, so would love to be your go everywhere possible boy.

Ideal Home

Dozer would love to be your go-everywhere-possible boy! He is not fond of cats, and that is unlikely to change. He should be the only dog in his forever home or have an experienced owner to help him continue developing his social skills.

Ongoing Health

Dozer is fully vetted - current with vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

We are working on helping Dozer rein in his excitement a bit and stop jumping up on humans. Once he learns this, he will excel around children and the elderly, as he genuinely loves everyone. He uses a doggie door and has never had any accidents inside. He was at the vet clinic for over a week and did fine in a crate, but is no longer confined to one. He is treat-motivated and loves being a good boy; once engaged, he is a good student for training.
