Panchita is a sweet and loving 2-3 year old, 33 lb mixed breed girl with a heart full of joy! She's incredibly intelligent, obedient, and eager to please, always sporting a smile. Panchita is very sociable with people of all ages and other dogs, and is even friendly with cats. She loves to play, go for walks, and shower her favorite humans with affection. She's a noble and charismatic pup who was rescued in March 2024 after being found with her 7 puppies in the field. She's crate and leash trained.
Ideal Home
Panchita would thrive in a home with owners who have a fenced backyard and enjoy an active lifestyle with outdoor activities. She needs a family with an open conscience about the needs of rescued animals, and who has experience with dog behavior and training. A high tolerance and patience for a rescued pup is essential. Please note, she is not house-trained.
Ongoing Health
Panchita has received a spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, and is microchipped. She has tested negative for heartworm and has had a 4DX test. She is currently on monthly Nexgard Spectra for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She comes with a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Panchita is not house-trained and will need consistent effort and patience in this area. Her rescuers emphasize that while they invest heavily in the physical and emotional rehabilitation of their animals, they are unable to house-train each one due to the number of pets in foster care.

- A virtual meet-and-greet with Panchita and her foster will be arranged.
- A trial adoption period will be implemented, with clear communication and instructions provided.
Transporation
Panchita is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. Transport to the adopter's home address on the East Coast is available for a fee of $400.00, which is paid by the adopter prior to departure.
