Shirley is a 7-year-old Red Tricolor female Australian Shepherd who came to us when her beloved owner passed away. She and her companion, Laverne, were clearly very loved and are now seeking a new family to cherish them. Shirley is a bundle of fun, embodying a delightful mix of friendliness, affection, sassiness, independence, goofiness, and sweetness. She adores a good game of fetch and thrives when she's the center of attention. Shirley is also a social butterfly, getting along well with other dogs, children, and cats, and she's a fantastic passenger on car rides!

Shirley would love a home where she can be the center of attention and play fetch to her heart's content!

Ongoing Health

Shirley is currently a bit overweight and has some weepy eyes that are being addressed. She will be starting a weight loss regimen.

• We require prospective adopters to complete a screening process, which includes an application, vet check, reference checks, and a home visit.
• The entire family, including any resident pets, must meet Shirley before adoption.

Transportation

Shirley is located in Burleson, TX. You are required to travel there to meet her in person within 10 days of application approval (exceptions can be made for out-of-state applicants).
