Meet Hootie! This handsome gentleman is around 5 years old and is the oldest of six dogs who recently came to us from a difficult situation. While he may be a seasoned fellow, Hootie has so much love to give and deserves a chance to finally experience the joys of a loving home. He spent most of his life in a kennel and will need a patient and understanding owner to help him adjust to his new life. Hootie is slowly learning that people can be kind and that life can be so much more than just four walls. He's looking for someone to allow him to truly be a dog – to explore, relax, and finally know what it feels like to belong. With the right person, Hootie has the potential to become an incredibly loyal companion.

Hootie requires an experienced owner who understands large dogs and is willing to work with him as he adjusts.

Hootie is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Hootie is house-trained and generally keeps his kennel clean. He is slowly learning to trust people and will need continued patience and positive reinforcement.
