Norm

Norm is a 6-week-old male Great Pyrenees puppy who arrived with his seven siblings. He's fluffy, curious, and playful, with a gentle and steady presence that's characteristic of his breed. Norm's story began outdoors, but he's now safe and looking forward to a bright future. He's already practicing being a loving companion who watches over his family.

Ideal Home

Homes with securely fenced yards are a must for Great Pyrenees puppies like Norm, as they love to roam and patrol. Families with children under 16 must have direct access to a securely fenced yard, meaning apartments and condos are not suitable. Apartments and condos can also be challenging for adult-only households due to potential puppy vocalizations. Homes where someone is present most of the time are ideal to help with consistent feeding and frequent potty breaks for training. Patience and time for socialization and training are essential.

Norm is currently healthy and has no specific health conditions noted.

Training & Support

As with all puppies, Norm will require consistent potty training, which involves frequent trips outside throughout the day. He also has sharp puppy teeth, so constant supervision is needed to teach both Norm and children about boundaries and respecting animals. Norm has boundless playful energy that needs an outlet through exercise and direction.
