Jones

Meet Jones! Jones is a handsome hound mix, estimated to be around 6 years old. He's a true hound through and through, full of personality and energy! Jones is currently in a foster home, where he's doing wonderfully. He gets along great with the foster's dogs, though we always recommend slow introductions for new furry friends.

Ideal Home

Jones would do best in a home with experienced hound owners who can provide the guidance and understanding a dog like him needs. He's a big, clumsy boy, so a home with older children would be ideal to avoid any accidental tumbles. No cats for Jones! He also requires a securely fenced yard, preferably with a panel fence, as he has a tendency to dig – a true hound trait!

Ongoing Health

Jones is up to date on all his vaccines, heartworm preventives, and flea and tick medication. He will also be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Jones is working on his house training in his foster home and is making great progress. He will benefit from continued training to learn basic manners. We are thrilled to announce that Jones comes with a fantastic offer: free training with Rosie Dane Dog Training! Thanks to the Pedigree Foundation, his adopter will receive a 10-week Novice Training course.
