Josie is a sweet and loving companion perfect for the whole family! This 41 lb Staffordshire Terrier mix, estimated to be born around October 26, 2023, is the ultimate cuddle buddy. She adores playing with her toys, snuggling with her foster siblings, sunbathing, and the occasional chicken nugget! Josie has been living with children in her foster home and does wonderfully with them. She's seamlessly acclimated to her foster environment, is potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and knows commands like "sit" and "stay." Being treat-motivated, she's eager to learn and be a part of your pack! Josie gets along great with other dogs, especially playful ones. Snuggling on the couch is a favorite pastime, and she's a pro at catching naps there. She's happy sleeping on the couch or going for long walks. When she's rested, her absolute favorite activity is going on car rides – and she's a perfect car passenger! Josie was rescued from the county shelter, where she was facing euthanasia due to overcrowding. She came to the shelter as a neglect case, emaciated and with a rough start, but she's come a long way! She's still working on gaining a little more weight but is ready to find her forever home.
