Ongoing Health

All vetting is included in the adoption fee, which covers DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, FVCRP vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.

Training & Support

All animals receive medical and behavioral care upon entering the program, including socialization, leash training, and basic commands. Continued training efforts and understanding are expected from adopters.

Transportation

Apricot is available for adoption in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Pets are transported via comfortable, air-conditioned buses with dedicated staff. Pick-up locations will be determined with the adoption coordinator. For those picking up at the Angleton, Tx location, the adoption fee is $75.
