Max

Max is a sweet Husky mix, estimated to be born on January 1, 2019, and weighed 58 pounds as of April 16, 2026. He came to us as a stray, so we don't have any information about his past. Max is an affectionate and playful boy! While some Huskies have energy levels that are off the charts, Max's seems to be a bit more mellow, likely due to his age. He does know the "sit" command and is probably capable of more, he just hasn't felt the need to show off yet.

Ideal Home

Max requires a tall, secure fence to keep him safely in his yard, as Huskies are known for being escape artists.

Ongoing Health

Max is up-to-date on his vaccinations, is microchipped, and has been spayed/neutered.

Training & Support

Max knows "sit" and may know other commands he hasn't yet displayed.

• You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment.
• You can also visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11 am - 5 pm.
• Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30 pm.
