Milky Way

Milky Way is a chocolatey dream of a dog, a truly kind and gentle soul whose favorite pastime is catching some Zzzs. At 13 years old and weighing around 19 lbs, this sweet senior has very limited vision. He's a gem who gets along wonderfully with other dogs, kids, and cats, and he's a fantastic car rider! Milky Way is house-trained, though he wears a belly band just in case, as his back legs are a bit weak. He enjoys leisurely walks and will happily snuggle up in the first comfortable spot he finds for a good night's sleep. We all adore this quiet senior, and we know you will too!

Ideal Home

Milky Way would thrive in a home where he can enjoy his senior years with comfort and love. He's a wonderful companion who enjoys the simple pleasures of life.

Ongoing Health

This stunning senior gent has been fully vetted, including bloodwork and a fecal test, and he is neutered. He's also had dental work and oral fistulas repaired. Milky Way is currently being treated for early-onset dementia with medication, and he takes thyroid tabs for low thyroid, along with several supplements for his overall health.

Training & Support

Milky Way is house-trained, but he wears a belly band due to some weakness in his back legs. He enjoys meandering walks and is a champion napper!
