AXEL

Axel is a 3-year-old, 49.2 lb, black, neutered male German Shepherd with the most gorgeous honey-colored eyes. He came to us as an owner surrender and is a soulful boy with a sweet disposition. The shelter environment has left him feeling a little timid, and he's in need of some confidence-building. Axel is not aggressive, just sensitive, and needs time to decompress and learn to trust again. With patience, consistency, and love, this boy will absolutely blossom. He's waiting for someone to see past his nerves and fall for the gentle, sweet soul underneath.

Axel would thrive in an adults-only home with calm dog companions. He needs a quiet environment where he can decompress at his own pace.
