Meet Dakota – The Spirited Sweetheart! Dakota is a 2-year-old bundle of energy and personality! This fun, social girl has a big heart and an equally big spirit. She’s confident and a little on the alpha side, so she does best around dogs that are more submissive or easygoing. She’s a smart girl who already knows how to sit and wait patiently for a treat. Dakota thrives on one-on-one attention from her people—she absolutely loves being the center of affection and forming a close, loyal bond. With her playful and energetic nature, she’s always ready to join in on adventures, playtime, or a good walk.

Ideal Home

Dakota would do best in an active household where she can stay engaged, burn off energy, and enjoy plenty of love and attention. She does like to chase cats, so she would do best in a home without feline friends.

Ongoing Health

Dakota is spayed, fully vaccinated, and heartworm negative. She receives regular heartworm medication, flea and tick treatment, and deworming medication.

Training & Support

Dakota knows how to sit and wait patiently for a treat. As with many rescue dogs, housetraining may be the responsibility of the adopter.

Dakota is currently being fostered in Adair County, KY. We offer transport to Greenwood, IN, Wilmington, OH, Washington, PA, and Mount Joy, PA.
