Meet Zeus, a distinguished 9-year-old gentleman with a heart of gold! Affectionately known as "Moosey Brucey," Zeus is a laid-back, easy-going, and goofy soul who absolutely loves a good walk or two each day. Despite his impressive size (around 80 lbs, which just means more of him to adore!), he's a gentle giant who takes social cues like a pro and is happy to give everyone their space – though he wouldn't mind a little extra room on your couch! Zeus is good on a leash, knows "sit," and is working diligently on "stay" (especially when the food bowl is involved!). He's great with other dogs of all sizes and has a wonderful history with his foster family's canine companions and children. While he might be a little hesitant at first, a few tasty treats will quickly win him over, revealing his sweet and loving nature. Zeus is also a good boy in his kennel, content to snooze on a comfy bed at your feet. If you're looking for a loving companion who's sure to bring joy and a bit of goofy charm into your life, Zeus is your guy!
Ideal Home
Zeus would thrive in a home where he can relax and receive plenty of affection. He is good with dogs of all sizes and gets along well with children over the age of 10 who understand dog body language.
Ongoing Health
Zeus is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and on flea/tick and heartworm preventative.
Training & Support
Zeus is house-trained and crate-trained, though he requires a large crate. He is currently working on his "stay" command. He warms up to new people and situations quickly with patience and tasty treats.
