Callie

Callie is a 6-year-old, 50 lb Labrador Retriever and Siberian Husky mix with the kindest soul. Her world was turned upside down when she was moved to a new state with the promise of a temporary stay that sadly turned permanent. She waited patiently for her family to return, but they never did. The rescue then received the heartbreaking news that Callie was no longer wanted. She has spent months in the rescue's care, holding onto hope and a heart full of love, longing to be chosen, cherished, and loved forever. Callie is incredibly loving, gentle when taking treats, adores belly rubs, and is a wonderful alert dog.
