Maverick

Maverick has truly come to love and appreciate life indoors, transforming into the perfect housemate! This strikingly handsome young boy has a heart full of hope and a deep desire to connect. Maverick craves affection and purpose; he wants to be guided, to learn, and to belong. He's house-trained, very smart, loves walks and outdoor adventures, and enjoys cuddle time and naps. Maverick is loyal and affectionate, walks beautifully on a leash, and picks up new cues quickly with an eagerness to please. He's not just ready for love; he's asking for it with every glance and wag of his tail. Maverick is in need of a foster or permanent home where he can reach his full potential and live the life he longs for. While he loves all adults and has done well with some other dogs (though not yet off-leash), we've observed signs that he might not do well with small children. Older teens could be okay, but we suggest no small children and he'd likely do best with dogs his own size. Meet and greets are conducted prior to fostering or adoption.

Ideal Home

Maverick would thrive in a home with adults and potentially older teens. He has done well with some other dogs but is not yet comfortable off-leash with them. We suggest he would do best with dogs his own size and, due to some observed signs, we recommend no small children in the home.

Maverick is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Maverick is house-trained and picks up new cues quickly. He walks beautifully on a leash and shows an eagerness to please.
