This cutie is Bruno Reed. He is currently 5 months old and weighs approximately 26 pounds. We think they may be a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull mix, but with rescue, it's a guess! What matters most is that he is adorable and is one of the most desperate puppies in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies, so this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from Wags, it saves their life as well as the life of another in its place.
Bruno is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He loves to play with his siblings and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat - such is puppy life! Ideal Home
Bruno is still very young and will need a family that can commit to training, socialization, and all the dedication puppyhood requires. A puppy is discovering new things that shape their personalities with each passing day. Implementing routine, structure, setting boundaries, and proper socialization is key from the start.
Ongoing Health
All vetting is included in the adoption fee, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Wags requires a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy starting immediately when arriving at their new home, which will help with potty training, energy management, and the overall development of a well-rounded adult dog. Adopters also receive extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on staff, discounts on Embark DNA test kits, 30-day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion, a free private online dog training session with GoodPup, discounts on in-person dog training through Rover Training, and access to multiple dog trainers in your area.

Transportation
Bruno is located in Texas. Wags facilitates adoptions nationwide using their rescue-run USDA certified transport system. Drop off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. Adopters will have the opportunity to track their pet's journey in real time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
