He loves being close to his people, wagging his adorable wiggle butt, playing with toys, and going on adventures. Barney is a German Shepherd/lab mix, about 2 years old, and weighs around 45 lbs. He's affectionate, mellow without being boring, and will make your everyday life feel warmer. Barney is a smart boy who already knows "sit" and "shake," and is crate and potty trained. He also knows how to use a doggy door. Barney would love a home with a big backyard, but he's also happy to be your one and only companion, soaking up all your affection. He's the perfect mix of adventure buddy and snuggle pal.

Ongoing Health

Barney is a rescue dog, and we cannot guarantee breed or age. All vetting is included in the adoption fee.

Training & Support

Barney is crate and potty trained and knows how to use a doggy door. He also knows basic commands like "sit" and "shake."

Transportation

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies for transportation.
