Lily

Lily is an energetic and happy girl who is looking for a calm home to spend the rest of her days! We think she is a terrier-lab mix, and she has a beautiful medium-length coat. She is around 40 pounds, house-trained, and knows "sit" plus a few other basic commands. Lily is shy and will need to be introduced to strangers (dog and human) slowly, but she is becoming more secure and has had several smooth introductions, especially if you take her for a nice walk first! Being a terrier mix, Lily enjoys the thrill of the chase when it comes to small animals outside. She has plenty of love to share and will fill your home with it! Lily is one smart cookie and loves to be praised!

Ideal Home

Lily will do best in a home as either an only pet or with another laid-back male dog that is around her size or smaller. Families with young children may not be a good match for Lily at this time.

Ongoing Health

Loud noises, sudden movement, and storms have been scary for Lily in the past. She has done well overcoming most fears with positive reinforcement, but storms can still be frightening for her. Her adoption fee of $250 includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations, and monthly preventatives.

Training & Support

Lily is shy and will need slow introductions to new people and animals. Positive reinforcement has been successful in helping her overcome some fears.
