Panda the perfect doggy pal

Panda is a shy guy who blooms with patience and gentle encouragement. He's estimated to be two years old and weighs about 50 pounds, likely a Pittie mix. His mellow nature and distinctive black and white coat earned him his name. Panda loves his toys, chew bones, and daily walks, craving routine and structure. Ideal Home

Panda would thrive in a quiet, suburban or rural home. He's looking for a home with another confident, playful dog, especially a female, as he draws a lot of confidence from his canine companions. He previously did well in a home with children aged 5 and up, so he can live with little ones, provided they are respectful and sweet. Panda is not recommended for a home with cats.

Ongoing Health

Panda is a rescue dog and is up to date on all vetting.

Training & Support

Panda is house-trained and kennel-trained. He is great on leash and enjoys tandem walks. He is still learning about the luxuries of a stable home and will require a patient adopter who will allow him a full decompression period. His behavior team and foster mom are available to provide guidance and support.

Transportation

Panda is currently in Texas and will likely travel to meet you. We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport. Transport is available to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT).
