Meet Phoenix, an adorable 5-year-old Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso mix. Phoenix is looking for a loving home where he can get plenty of interaction and cuddles. He's about 21 pounds of pure cuteness and is ready to find his forever family. Phoenix was surrendered through no fault of his own and has spent a lot of time alone, so he's eager to be part of your family's activities.

Ideal Home

Phoenix would thrive in a home with a fenced yard; he prefers this over walks. He is not a match for apartment living. Because there's no history of Phoenix with small children, we recommend a home without kids. He also doesn't like to be picked up.

Ongoing Health

Phoenix is up to date on his vaccines and is neutered.

Training & Support

Phoenix is pad-trained and can also go outside. He is also leash and crate trained. He has interacted well with other dogs since arriving in our care. He needs a home that can provide love and guidance as he continues to learn to interact with people and animals.
