Hansel is a sweet, gentle boy weighing 46lbs with an estimated birthday of 4/28/2025. He may be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he warms up, his wonderful personality starts to shine. Hansel enjoys doing his own thing, quietly exploring the world around him and taking everything in at his own pace. While he has a calm and independent side, Hansel also has playful moments and enjoys getting energetic while playing with other dogs. He has been introduced to female dogs and has done well with them. At a recent adoption event, Hansel was a superstar, making lots of new friends, both human and canine, especially kids! He is kennel trained and loves having soft blankets and pillows to curl up with after a day of adventures. Hansel is also a fan of chew toys and happily keeps himself entertained. Bath time is no problem for this handsome guy; he handles it like a champ! Once Hansel trusts you, you'll have a loyal companion who is equal parts sweet, curious, and lovable.

Transporation
Hansel is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and we coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport. Pickup locations of transported dogs may vary, including to nearby towns or states.
