Spike JuM

Spike is a goofball with a strong and silly personality. He's playful, happy, and so grateful to be alive! Spike was rescued from a high-kill shelter in West Texas and has been receiving excellent care, making friends, and enjoying life while he waits for his forever family.

Ideal Home

Spike is good with other dogs, but he is a dominant boy. He would do best as an only dog or with a submissive canine companion. As a Husky, Spike is active and requires a family knowledgeable about the breed. Huskies are known escape artists and shed a lot, so Spike would thrive in a home that understands and can manage these traits. He dreams of leaving hot Texas for cooler weather and would appreciate a home with good air conditioning.

Ongoing Health

Spike has completed his heartworm treatment.

Training & Support

Spike is house-trained. As a Husky, he will need continued guidance to manage his energy levels and prevent escape attempts.
