Meet Dozer! This sweet and independent puppy is a joy to be around. Dozer enjoys playtime with his siblings but is also content to entertain himself. He has a playful spirit and plenty of puppy energy when it's time to romp, but he also knows how to relax, making him a great fit for a home that enjoys a more laid-back pace. Dozer is curious and enjoys his toys. He has been raised with children and does well with them, though his easygoing nature might make him a particularly good companion for older children who appreciate his calm demeanor. He gets along with other puppies and would likely enjoy having a friendly dog sibling to share his days with.
Ideal Home
Dozer would thrive in a home that appreciates his independent spirit and relaxed style. A home with older children and potentially another friendly dog would be ideal. Because Dozer is a young puppy, someone needs to be home more than they are away, as extended periods of crating are not suitable for his developmental needs. If you work outside the home for longer than 4 hours, please explain who will be available to spend time with him.
Ongoing Health
Dozer is a healthy 9-week-old puppy. Puppies under 6 months are adopted on a spay/neuter contract, and adopters will be responsible for having them altered when age-appropriate. $100 of the adoption donation will be refunded after proof of future spay/neuter is provided.
Training & Support
Dozer is still learning the basics, including potty training. He is comfortable staying in a puppy pen when unsupervised and will need a committed family to teach him all the essential commands and routines as he grows.
