A little about them

Mindy is a sweet, playful 1-year-old Pit Bull mix looking for a loving second chance. She enjoys making friends, playing, and receiving attention from people. After arriving with mange and wounds from a dog fight, she is healing well and continuing to show her affectionate nature.

Ideal Home

Mindy seems to do better with male dogs than female dogs, so a meet-and-greet with potential canine siblings is important. Her compatibility with cats is unknown. She is reported to do well with children.

Ongoing Health

Mindy is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, Bordetella, and distemper/parvo, treated with flea and tick medication, and microchipped before adoption. She is healing from mange and wounds sustained in a dog fight. Dogs six months and older are tested for heartworm and Lyme disease.

Training & Support

Mindy appears to be doing well with housebreaking, though she may need a reasonable potty schedule and may not be able to hold it through a full 12-hour night. Her family should provide patience, love, and security as she continues to thrive.
