Sadie

Sadie is a loyal, approximately 2-year-old, spayed German Shepherd weighing about 55 pounds. She loves affection, long walks, and playing with her toys. Sadie has a moderate energy level; she's playful and active but also enjoys relaxing by your feet indoors. She is housetrained and sleeps comfortably in a crate.

Ideal Home

Sadie would thrive in an active home that can keep her mentally and physically engaged. She needs a home experienced with German Shepherds due to her potential insecurity, defensiveness, and protective nature. She would do best with a single woman, or in a multi-adult household (no children) with experienced handlers committed to her socialization. She is not suitable for apartment living. Sadie will chase cats that run and requires proper introductions to new dogs.

Sadie is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Sadie is undersocialized and requires continued training, structure, and socialization with other dogs and people, as she can be reactive in public.
