Despite her age, Tourmaline has a wonderfully puppyish charm that people always comment on. She's lived a full life and is now looking for a peaceful place to spend her golden years. Tourmaline is a pro on leash and while she can get a little excited about other dogs initially, she's generally unbothered by them, preferring to march to the beat of her own drum. She's a true gem with all humans, including children, and greets strangers with a gentle, independent spirit. Tourmaline can sometimes worry when left alone, likely due to past experiences, and her occasional barks are just her way of saying she values your presence. She loves to follow her favorite people around and would be thrilled to be your constant companion! This easygoing girl is incredibly snuggly, totally housebroken, and a big fan of treats. She looks forward to cozy nights snuggled in her bed. Tourmaline was recently diagnosed with cancer, but her prognosis is good, and she has plenty of life left to enjoy.
