Skipper

Meet Skipper! This sporty and energetic girl is looking for an active companion to match her zest for life. Skipper has been with us for over two years, overcoming trauma to her front leg which has since been amputated. She's fully healed and her unique personality has blossomed, revealing a sweet and cuddly side once she trusts you. Skipper's favorite game is fetch, and she's the perfect partner for anyone who loves a good game of ball! After a good play session, she loves to relax and cuddle close to her people.

Ideal Home

Skipper would do best as the only pet in the home, as she is not good with other dogs or cats. She may need a little extra time to warm up to new people, but treats and a fun game of fetch will surely win her over.

Ongoing Health

Skipper is a tripod, with one front leg amputated. She has fully healed and shows no limitations in her mobility or playfulness.

Training & Support

Skipper is learning basic commands and responds well to treats and positive reinforcement. She is working on her leash manners but does outstanding with a head halter.
