Pax is a walking, barking celebration of all things fun, and he's ready to be your full-time lifestyle upgrade! This handsome 78 lb American Staffordshire Terrier mix has a PhD in Vibing and is a social butterfly who treats every day like he's won the lottery. He's a devoted shadow, always ready to keep you company, whether you're tackling your day or settling in for a binge-watching session. Pax is house-trained, crate-trained, and has been a great big brother to the teens in his foster home. He just really loves his humans and wants to be part of the action, so he can experience some mild FOMO when you leave, but he gets over it quickly. He's a dog superstar with other dogs and enjoys playing with pups of all sizes, though he'd be happiest with a low to medium energy dog who enjoys both energetic play and synchronized naps. Pax even gave the resident kitty a curious sniff and then went about his business, so he might be willing to share his kingdom with a feline friend, with a trial run to ensure they become best buds. This versatile guy is ready to thrive anywhere, from a house with a big fenced yard for zoomies to a cozy apartment for afternoon naps. He's already doing great on his leash and loves his plush toys, proudly carrying them around to show them off. Pax is a bundle of joy, spots, and smiles, and all he wants is a family to call his own.
Ideal Home
Pax would do best in a home with kids 10 and up due to his size and occasional clumsiness. He would also thrive in a home with a low to medium energy dog who enjoys a good game of tag followed by a nap. He can also share his kingdom with a kitty, pending a successful trial sleepover.
Ongoing Health
Pax is up to date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. He has also had a heartworm test and treatment if needed.
Training & Support
Pax is already crate and potty trained and is doing great on his leash. He can exhibit mild fear of missing out when his humans leave, but this is very mild.
