Meet Bunnie! Bunnie and her brother, Jelly Roll, were found as strays on a street known for dumping dogs. Unfortunately, their owners were never found. We believe they are retriever mixes, and Bunnie is approximately 10-11 months old. Bunnie is a very enthusiastic and energetic pup who loves to be outdoors! She is still learning about the world and can be a little shy when first meeting new people. With a little time and patience, she warms up and becomes incredibly friendly and affectionate. She would absolutely love a home with another dog to play with and a secure, fenced-in yard where she can explore to her heart's content. While she enjoys spending time outside, she will also be happy to come inside to snuggle and sleep at night.
Ideal Home
Bunnie would thrive in a home with an active family that can provide her with plenty of exercise and outdoor time. A securely fenced-in yard is a must for her to safely explore. She would also benefit from having a canine companion to play with. Bunnie would do best in a home with children over 10 years old.
Ongoing Health
Bunnie is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her shots. She is also heartworm negative and currently on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Bunnie is still a puppy and has high energy, so adopters should be prepared to provide her with ample exercise. She is shy at first with new people, so patience and positive reinforcement will be key as she builds confidence.
