Mochi is a charming Shih Tzu and Poodle mix who came to us after a difficult change in her life. Her previous family loved her dearly, but due to personal circumstances, they could no longer provide the care she needed. Seeing her condition start to decline, with a matted coat and ticks, they made the responsible decision to surrender her and her three companions to us to ensure a better future for them. Today, Mochi is parasite-free and looking much better! Due to recent sudden weather changes in the city, she is currently having some mild respiratory problems, including sneezing and coughing, and is already under treatment. The great news is that Mochi can go home immediately and finish her care in the comfort of her new home.
She is a sturdy, "chunky" little girl with a personality that everyone falls in love with. Mochi is a star student; she is highly food-motivated, making her very easy to train. She is already learning to respond to the "come" command! As a Shih Tzu/Poodle mix, her hair grows extremely fast and requires a family committed to her grooming and brushing so she always looks like the diva she is.
Ideal Home
Mochi is very friendly with everyone and social with dogs and cats. She walks excellently on a leash. She needs a family committed to her grooming and brushing needs.
Ongoing Health
Mochi is currently dealing with mild respiratory problems (sneezing/coughing). We are providing complete medical treatment that needs to be finished at her new home. She is already spayed and up-to-date on her DHPPI and Rabies vaccines. She is also microchipped and has been dewormed internally and externally.
Training & Support
Mochi is highly food-motivated and very easy to train, already responding to the "come" command. She enjoys learning new tricks.
