Luther

Luther is a 1-year-old hound mix who is surprisingly small, even smaller than he appears in photos! He has so much love to give and is looking for the perfect family to share it with. Luther is a sweet, happy, gentle, and quiet boy who loves to cuddle and wants to be as close to his people as possible. He enjoys playful energy and good walks, and he's a lap dog at heart! He loves the outdoors, has a genuine curiosity about everything he sees, and enjoys stuffed bones, KONGs, and enrichment toys. If he happens to grab a household item like a blanket, he can easily be redirected. Luther sleeps through the night in his crate, rides well in a car, and loves everyone he meets! Any family would be lucky to have him.

Ideal Home

Luther would do best in a home with a fenced yard so he can safely explore the outdoors. As a young dog with puppy energy, a home that understands and prioritizes his growth and development will be a huge plus.

Ongoing Health

Luther is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

Training & Support

Luther is crate trained, potty trained, and learning basic obedience commands like "Sit." He is good with adults, children, and other dogs. He has not been tested with cats. He is reactive to critters when he sees them on his adventures.
