Melon

Meet Melon! You will fall in love with this sweet girl! Melon is an approximately 9-month-old, 30-pound Shepherd mix who is currently at the shelter learning to be brave and gaining confidence every day. She arrived with her brother, Mango, and while they don't need to be adopted or fostered together, they are enjoying their puppy playtime while they wait for their forever homes.

Melon is a bit on the shyer, quieter side, but we're already seeing her come out of her shell! Her personality will likely blossom even more with time and positive experiences.

Ideal Home

Melon would be happy as an only dog, or she could thrive with a canine sibling who can show her the ropes. Slow and proper introductions to any resident dogs are a must. We do not know how she would do with cats or children, so a home willing to work through those introductions is ideal.

Ongoing Health

Melon is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Melon is still learning to be brave and gain confidence. She would benefit from a patient and understanding adopter who can help her continue to blossom.
