Scout

Meet Scout! This little sweetheart is sure to melt your heart with her darling puppy-dog eyes and sweet, gentle personality. Scout is a tiny 2-month-old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix, weighing just 4 pounds. She might even have a little Miniature Pinscher in her, too! When it became clear this precious girl needed rescue, GreenDog Foundation jumped into action to make sure she was safe. She’s a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, all she wants is to be close to her people.

Ideal Home

Scout's future family must be especially vigilant because of her tiny size. Small puppies can be vulnerable not only to coyotes but also to birds of prey, so predator awareness is essential whenever she’s outside.

Ongoing Health

Scout has already received her first puppy vaccinations and deworming. She will receive her booster vaccines, and her spay will be included when she’s old enough.

Training & Support

Scout is a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, all she wants is to be close to her people.
