Dexter

Dexter is a nearly 5-year-old boy who came to us in need of a fresh start. He spent most of his life in a shelter and unfortunately suffered an attack that left him with leg and jaw injuries. But don't let his past fool you – Dexter is a resilient and loving dog who has blossomed in our care. He's incredibly smart, eager to please, and his love for food makes training a breeze! Dexter is crate trained, playful, and curious, and he's excited to discover the world with his new family.

Ideal Home

Dexter would do best in an active, adult-only home that will continue his training and include him in daily life and adventures. He is dog-selective and can be particular with dogs in his own space, but he's generally able to walk past other dogs without issue.

Ongoing Health

Dexter has healed from his past leg and jaw injuries.

Training & Support

Dexter has learned to engage with other dogs more appropriately and has developed good obedience skills. Continue his positive reinforcement training, and you'll have a fantastic companion.
