Hi! We are Perrier (male) and Evian (female), a bonded pair of young boxers, about 2-4 years old. We've had a challenging few months on our own, but thankfully Austin Boxer Rescue found us and we're ready for our forever home! We are dog-friendly, smart, and playful. We love to entertain each other and will spend the day keeping each other company. We are crate trained, house trained, and both motivated by treats. We both love people and are very affectionate. Evian responds to simple commands like "come," "paw," and "sit." Perrier is a little reluctant to follow Evian's lead but is obviously trainable and very food and treat motivated! We sleep in our dog beds close to our humans or in our open crates at night. We are both good on a leash for short walks, but will need training for longer walks or hikes. When outside, we have good behavior and quick recall. Evian may attempt to dig if she sees a frog or an interesting creature, but stops immediately when told "no." We do not attempt to jump fences when in our backyard. We like to be close to our humans and often nap while they are working from home. We are curious about almost everything we can find in a home, but most of all love affection, particularly Evian. Some of our favorite things are wrestling together, cuddling, napping, food and treats, toys, and meeting other dogs. We love to get attention from our humans and their guests. We would make an excellent addition to almost any home that loves boxers!
Ideal Home
We are fine with teenagers and would love to be near our humans, especially while they work from home. It is unknown if we are cat friendly as we do not live with one. It is also unknown how we are with small children.
