Taj

Taj is a brave and beautiful seven-month-old Canaan Dog mix who was found in southern Jordan at just 13 weeks old, bravely dragging his hind legs in search of help. Veterinarians determined his paralysis was likely caused by a congenital condition, and though euthanasia was suggested, we knew he deserved a chance at a happy life. Taj can't use his back legs and needs assistance with expressing his urine and stool, but he refuses to let that define him! His playful, affectionate spirit shines every day. Curious, gentle, and full of personality, Taj has a natural way of making everyone around him smile. He doesn’t see his condition as a limitation — just a part of who he is. Taj melts hearts everywhere he goes, and he does wonderful with dogs, cats, and children.
