Panda is a shy but sweet two-year-old Pittie mix, weighing around 50 pounds. He's been affectionately named for his black and white coat and his wonderfully mellow nature. Panda loves the simple things in life: chew toys, Nyla bones, and his daily walks. He thrives on routine and structure, knowing what to expect each day brings him comfort. He's a special boy who will reward you with endless unconditional love and gratitude for saving his life.
Ideal Home
Panda would do best in a quiet, serene suburban or rural home. He needs to be in a home with another dog, preferably a playful female, as he draws a lot of confidence from his canine companions. He previously did well in a home with children aged 5 and up, but they must be respectful and sweet with him. Panda is not recommended for a home with cats. He will require a patient adopter who will allow him ample time to decompress.
Ongoing Health
Panda is a rescue dog and his health history is unknown. He has received all necessary vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. He has also been tested for heartworm.
Training & Support
Panda is house-trained and kennel-trained. He is great on leash and enjoys tandem walks. He settles well in the car. He bonds with his people through walks and enjoys snuggling up at night. While he may still be learning, patience and positive reinforcement are key to his happiness.
