Ranger

Ranger is a wonderfully sweet 2-year-old boy who loves to play and explore the great outdoors! He was rescued as a tiny pup and has bounced back to become a fun-loving companion. Ranger enjoys his downtime too and is happy to snuggle up in bed or sleep in his crate. He makes friends easily with new people and loves to play with other dogs, especially if there's a ball involved for some fetch fun. Ranger has a unique way of playing with toys, "cobbing" them like an ear of corn – what a silly boy! He's also a gentleman on car rides and knows basic commands like sit, shake, and down. While he's improving on his leash pulling, keeping counters clear is a must, as Ranger has a knack for "swiping" any tasty treats left unattended! Based on his appearance, we suspect Ranger is an Anatolian Shepherd mix with perhaps some Great Pyrenees. He's a healthy eater, has a lean Shepherd physique, and weighs between 60-65 lbs. Ranger is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

Ideal Home

Ranger would thrive in a home that can keep up with his playful energy and appreciate his chill-out moments. He enjoys the company of other dogs. Children in the home should be 12 years or older.

Training & Support

Ranger is working on his leash manners and is known to occasionally help himself to unattended food on counters, so keeping them clear is recommended.

Ranger is currently being fostered in Little Rock, AR. We are able to help transport to adopters located in Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, and Arkansas.
