Gigi is a delightful 3-year-old, approximately 40 lb, female Staffordshire Terrier mix with a heart full of love to give! She was rescued as a stray in Saltillo, Mexico, and had a rough start after being found in heat and later undergoing a complicated spay surgery where she experienced severe coagulation problems. After a tough fight for her life, she's now on the mend and ready for her forever home. Gigi is incredibly grateful for her second chance and promises to be a devoted and loving companion. She’s described as friendly, affectionate, loyal, gentle, playful, smart, protective, brave, curious, independent, funny, athletic, quiet, dignified, and full of joy. She also loves kisses, is a cuddler, and is an eager-to-please, entertaining sweetheart.
Ideal Home
Gigi would thrive in a home with owners who have a fenced backyard and enjoy outdoor activities. This breed experience is a must, along with an open mind and understanding of the needs of rescued animals. Patience and high tolerance are essential, especially as she is not house-trained.
Ongoing Health
Gigi is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her vaccinations, including DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella. She has been dewormed, tested negative for heartworm, and is on monthly Nexgard Spectra protection for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. She also has a health certificate and vaccine booklet.
Training & Support
Gigi is not house-trained, and adopters should be prepared for this. Her rescue journey has required significant emotional and physical rehabilitation, and she will need continued patience and guidance to fully blossom.

Transportation
Gigi is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast. Transport is available for an additional fee of $400.00, paid by the adopter prior to departure. She will be delivered to your home address.
