Cjay enjoys the great outdoors, loves going for walks, playing fetch, and even joining you on bike rides. When it's time to relax, he's a champion couch potato, happy to cozy up and watch TV with you. Everyone who meets Cjay falls in love with his unique charm and the endless laughter he brings. He has completed an in-depth board and train program with an experienced trainer, so his new family will have a wonderfully trained companion. Cjay is best suited for an experienced family who can provide strong, kind leadership to maintain his training and ensure his continued success. Approved adopters will receive training sessions to help Cjay transition smoothly. Cjay's favorite pastime? Playing ball while rolling in the grass simultaneously – talk about innovative!
Ideal Home
Cjay thrives in a calm, structured home. He prefers proper introductions and is not a fan of strangers approaching him directly. He does well with calm, respectful dogs and has lived harmoniously with cats, though gradual introductions are always best. He can do well with children around 12 years old and older who understand boundaries. He would do best with a strong leader who is consistent with training, has experience with big, protective breeds, or is eager to learn. An active household where someone is home often or enjoys taking their dog along would be ideal. If other dogs are present, they should be calm and trained, or willing to be trained, to maintain Cjay's established rules.
Ongoing Health
Cjay is around 10 years old and weighs about 86 pounds, but he acts much younger, enjoying play and activity. He is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. Cjay has a sensitive tummy, which is managed with high-quality food and treats, avoiding poultry. He can sometimes experience dry eyes, which are effectively managed with eyedrops.
Training & Support
Cjay has undergone extensive training with a balanced trainer and behaviorist, completing a long-term advanced board and train program. He is a well-trained dog with a strong skillset and is a certified Canine Good Citizen. His trainer will provide sessions to his new family to ensure consistency with his training. He is crate trained and will come with his own Impact crate.
