William is a dapper 12-year-old, 9 lb. long-haired Chihuahua mix who is absolutely soaking up the love and attention he's receiving in his foster home! He enjoys leisurely strolls, though not too long due to a slight limp and arthritis. William also has a newly diagnosed heart murmur, hypertension, and a chronic cardiac cough. He does leak some urine and is currently on three daily medications. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs but would also be perfectly content as the sole furry companion. William is quite the character, a proud guy with a quirky personality. He likes things on his own terms and would thrive in a quiet, low-energy home. He can be unpredictable and not always cooperative, so he's looking for a very special adopter who will love him exactly as he is.

- Reference checks and a home visit will be scheduled.
- If you live in an apartment or condo, verification of permission to own a pet from your landlord or condo board will be required.
- Once approved, you will receive an adoption contract via email with details about pickup and the remaining adoption fee.
- Upon receipt of your signed contract and full payment, arrangements for pickup or transport will be made.
