Meet Colton! This handsome one-year-old Mastiff/Husky mix is all about adventure and living life at full speed. Colton thrives on activity and is happiest when he's exploring new trails, camping, or going for long walks. He loves being involved in everything his humans do and is looking for a family who shares his zest for life and commitment to keeping his mind and body engaged.
Colton is a social butterfly who enjoys the company of other dogs and currently does great at daycare. He's enthusiastic in his greetings and is still learning to temper his excitement when meeting new canine friends. With continued socialization and training, he'll become an even more well-rounded companion.
Ideal Home
Colton needs an active home that can keep up with his energy levels. He's looking for a family committed to providing plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Due to his enthusiastic nature and breed mix, a home without cats or other small animals would be the best fit for him. He could potentially share his home with another dog, provided that dog is happy to have an energetic and playful younger sibling.
Ongoing Health
Colton is part of our Special Circumstances Adoption Program. He is neutered, up-to-date on core vaccines, and has received flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Colton is a smart and eager learner who benefits from continued training and socialization. His enthusiastic greetings are something he's still working on, and we recommend continuing his positive reinforcement training to help him master polite introductions.

Transporation
Colton is located at Myrtle Animal Rescue & Sanctuary in St. Thomas, Ontario. Transportation assistance may be available for approved adopters within the region.
