Ever wonder what a cross between a hamster and Great Pyrenees would look like? Riley is your answer! Now imagine that hamdog has criminally soft ears, irresistibly huggable floof, and a sad puppy look that would get you to sell your grandma to the cartel. And did I mention he has freckles, does NOT drool, is a light shedder, and has a plume-tail like a three musketeers hat? Yeah, there might be some unicorn thrown in the mix… At 4 years old and 90 pounds, Riley’s favorite hobbies are sleeping, snuggling with his people, and nightly walkies. Around 9-10pm, it’s zoomie time, followed by a large snack and then bed. Like all people, Riley is a complex dude—he prefers quiet places, but will happily ride in the car, as long as a window is cracked so he can feel the breeze in his flowing locks. He loves to be near his people at all times, but has a firm belief that all garbage, recycling and other loud trucks were put on this planet to murder him. Same, Riley, same. If your idea of a good time is wrapping your arms around a soft mound of floof, watching giant furballs sleep and going for speed walks, Riley is your guy!
Ideal Home
Riley would thrive in a home in a more rural neighborhood with people who work from home or are retired. The hustle and bustle of city life is simply too hectic for him. He would do best with a very securely fenced in yard with privacy fencing only, and a friendly dog companion to play with and show him around. He is not a fan of crates, but will sleep in one if his people are nearby.
