Cookie is approximately 2 years old and weighs 50 pounds. She is a Poodle who is on the hunt for her forever home, and she is absolute perfection! Cookie is dog, cat, kid, and horse friendly, and she has experience living with a pack of six dogs, five cats, two children (ages 14 and 17), and two horses. She is also gentle with children as young as toddlers. Cookie is crate-trained and house-trained, and she is a dream at the groomer. She enjoys car rides, is not a chewer, and has a gentle mouth, making her an expert treat-taker. Cookie is a fantastic eater and has slowly gained 16 much-needed pounds over the past three months. She has excellent house manners and will not bother your shoes, potted plants, or snacks on the counter. Cookie sleeps soundly, mostly in bed but also on her dog bed. She has solid potential for recall with training and potties on a lead. She is not fenced at her current home but enjoys visiting a fenced yard on weekends. Cookie has a solid, happy temperament and has never been heard to growl or appear unhappy. She is not a barker, except for occasional brief excitement during deliveries. Cookie is highly adaptable and can be a couch potato or enjoy outdoor adventures like walks, kayaking, or hiking. She is an angel during vet visits and has undergone heartworm treatment, routine vaccines and testing, and a lower lid bilateral entropion repair surgery. Cookie is great with all people, including men, women, the elderly, and mail carriers. She loves to chatter her teeth when excited and will mimic actions. She is playful and young at heart.
